Decanted Sample of Club De Nuit Intense EDP by Armaf

First of lets make a public service announcement and disclose that YOU NEED TO KNOW WHICH VERSION OF CLUB DE NUIT IS SAFE, feels like an overstatement but its seriously not, i thought i was safe with the EDP but nop, it still does it so what the internet says its to get the Limited Edition which has a more "refined" lemon opening.
Disgusting rotten lemon at the opening, some people say "its not that bad, after 40mins its congress down to a pleasant scent" and in like 40mins? I only did 1 spray and had to air out my entire house for 2 days.
Not to mention that if you ever make it the drydown you can only smell wood as the base note and thats it.
In my humble opinion its not worth chasing the internet hype on this one, unless you use it to prank someone as a stink bomb or do a group challenge on who can stand it the longest this CDNI EDP and all its flankers need to be avoided and revised by Armaf... i dont care if they promise a thousand compliments per wearing its just not worth finding out if its true.

Not a huge fan of the aventus DNA but wanted to give this a try as easy reach in summer. In the air it's alright but up close it gives me a bit of headache. Much prefer there take on MI and SMW.

This stuff is truly amazing. The price, the scent, the longevity and projection is truly amazing. I get more compliments on this cologne then some of my $300 bottles. A MUST buy.

Honestly just a banger for the price. Great Aventus dna style frag. Personally like the limited edition version a bit more, but would not be sad about getting this one in its place. All the talk about the harsh opening I think is a bit over exagurated, at least to my nose. In its price range its a 5.

I picked up a decant of this to check out how deserving of the hype this frag gets and it is a good choice for Aventus DNA.  My friend that wears the OG checked it out as well and gave it the thumbs up saying it smelled similar to one of the better batches he had before.  I totally get why this one is a bit of a controversial scent because the infamous 'lemon cleaner' opening is very prominent but once it dies down this is a really pleasant and smooth and very slightly smoky Aventus clone with decent longevity of about 5-6 hours on two sprays.    Worth picking up a sample of if you want to compare clones and find the one that you enjoy most.

I'll stick with my Mont Blanc explorer personally though because it's smoother and easier to wear.

Lemon scent with heavy heavy pine smell afterward, smells exactly like Layton Exclusif with lemon to me

I've previously reviewed the EDT version of this fragrance, stating that I didn't like it and got a very spicy, overly masculine-bitter smell from it, and would not ever buy a full bottle. As always, try it out yourself since everyone biochemistry is different, and we all like different scents. This one smelled just like the EDT version in my eyes, so it's a definite no-go for me. Never got the fruity/sweet notes that are reported to exist in the Aventus and CDNI fragrances.

dry down is almost identical to aventus

Aventus dupe thats pretty good. Amazing for the price but the smell is a 7/10 for me. Def smells a little cheap.

Not my type of smell but other people may like it smells woody and leathery and strong

To me it has a pretty prominent woodsy smell that lasts throughout I was expecting more citrus and pineapple and the fragrance is a little cloying at the start I still enjoy it a lot but it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for or expecting with this fragrance

I’m impressed with this one, everyone hyped the edt as if it was a godsend. To me it smelled like dirt and oatmeal in the opening and the dirt smell remained after the opening. This one is just slightly different to the point that i’d actually wear it. I know i’m in the minority here but I actually think Mont Blanc Explorer is the closest thing to the real thing.

Very similar to aventus and much cheaper

To me, this is the best Aventus lookalike. Wear them side by side and the only difference is in quality. Nobody else will know you don't have on Aventus. This solves the Aventus problem with great longevity

toilet cleaner and smells very watered down and cheap. Mont Blanc Explorer a solid option, but al haramain  L'Aventure is probably the best dupe in the market

This stuff smells amazing and pulls a lot of compliments.  It smells like Creed Aventus to me and I think I actually like it better than Aventus cause it lasts longer.  I have tried the limited edition version also and it is very similar to the EDP but something about the EDP smells a touch better but I cant put my finger on it.  Anyway this is amazing scent!  Try it!

Firstly, I have never smelled Creed Aventus. My description of Club de Nuit Intense EDP is:
1) Clear pineapple that lasts the entire length of the scent
2) Beneath the pineapple is smoky woods

That's about it. I am extremely impressed with the longevity. I sprayed it two times on my chest and kept smelling it for 10+ hours. Overall, when I first tested it I wasn't a huge fan of the smell itself. After a second day, I started to like it. It's so cheap that I think I might get a bottle one day. A strong performer that would work well in warm weather especially.

Smells very similar to Creed Aventus. I’m not a huge fan of either but it is mass appealing.

Definite blind buy, loved the intense beginning and the dry-down is to die for.
