Decanted Sample of Le Male Elixir by Jean Paul Gaultier

After the dry down I mostly smell the honey and Tonka bean. Defenetly not a warm weather fragrance but would be nice in late fall and winter. It lasted on my skin for over a day.

It's a good fragrance and I got compliments but it's too sweet for me.

This stuff I was really excited about. On initial spray I thought maybe I liked it, after a few minutes I realized I did NOT. It is definitely going to make impression on people. Will they like it or not? That is the question, it was a little overly sweet for me. I would def say it was almost a Unisex fragrance. I would not buy this.

I think I'm just not a fan of the JPG line, I've tried a large chunk of them and they all have this synthetic Sweet DNA that I think just doesn't work with my skin/nose.  It's just middle ground okay for my taste.

This is a fun, youthful fragrance, but it's too sweet and powdery/creamy for my taste.

Great price, mint condition, every size has an atomizer and glass bottles. Will be buying from here again soon.

Lots of hype for this one, I can tell why it's popular, especially with the younger crowd. Very good performance and longevity, however it is to sweet in a synthetic way. Only works for cold weather and night time, so it is not very versatile.  Good but overhyped.

This was the one! That honey tobacco dry down blew my mind. I really thought Le Parfum was a great scent but it seems incomplete after smelling Elixir.  It is sweet but in a very balanced way. The only decant that convinced me I needed a full bottle.

Deep and darker JPG fragrance. Pretty good.

This reminds me of a great cold weather fragrance. Sweet and warm.

Le Male Elixir feels like a spiritual successor to Ultra Male. Where Le Parum feels more dry and woody, Elixir is sticky and syrupy, with a much warmer dry down. It's not as bright as Ultra Male, but I think the sweetness makes for a similar utility. Elixir is one of my more favorite recent releases.

Pretty good scent changes up to kind of the original jpg on the dry down which is nice

Its a great cologne for the winter.Its has nice longevity  , the scent lasted me for the whole day

This is the most recommended JPG so I had to get a decant. Smells deep and dark with a hint of sweet. If you like Spicebomb Extreme and Sauvage Elixir, you’ll definitely like this fragrance. Projects like a beast and lasts all day on my skin.

Amazing honey Tabaco smell. Beast performance.  

I liked Le Male Le Parfum, but wasn't totally sold on it. but this to me is on another level. Almost sort of reminds me of a S'mores but in the best way. Definitely going to pick up a bottle when we get back to the colder months, just amazing.

Ok, this one actually does deserve the hype. It's sexy, seductive, sweet, but not too cloying. Maintains the le male DNA well. 9/10

This a very attractive scent that has a well mixed blend of lavender and vanilla. It’s one of my favorite colognes and I went to look for a bottle right after smelling it.

i think its a great date night or attention grabbing fragrance. great longevity i sprayed a t shirt with a good amount of sprays and could still smell it about 2 weeks layer

For a designer cologne it smells alright but there's been other Gaultier scents that smell better.

Do I think it's overhyped? Yes. Do I think it's bad? Not at all. Great fragrance for the fall and winter. Love the vanilla in the Le Male line. However, Le Male Le Parfum might be a better alternative for a cheaper cost.

Good old JPG. Sexy vanilla, honey and tobacco. You get your bang for the buck at $152 for 4.2oz ($36/oz), even less when discounted.

10/10 for performance vs value vs uniqueness.

This is a good fragrance but I think le male le parfum is a better fragrance. This is a strong fragrance so be careful with the sprays.

Incredible juice, is opens up with lavender and a hint of mint then you get that sweet honey tobacco. I ended up buying a bottle almost immediately.

stands out with its impressive projection and performance. The vanilla, honey and tonka notes create an enticing aroma that is  pleasing to the nose and manages to evoke a mouth-watering sensation. Good choice for those who appreciate a fragrance that commands attention and leaves a sweet, memorable impression.

This is the best cologne for winter if you like a more stronger smell of vanilla

Smells very feminine. It’s almost spice bomb extreme but sharper and sweeter.

I love this scent! It has a very sweet note to it, but it is balanced out with everything else in it. It is one of my favorite scents that I have tried, and definitely my favorite out out of the JPG line. The performance is also very good.

I have not tried Le Male Le Parfum so can't compare with that but as a standalone scent, it is very sweet for me. I am not averse to sweet scents but this is a bit too much for me. Lasts quite a bit. Easily 9 hours+

Love the dry down

Honestly like it better that Le Male Le Parfum and definitely worth a full bottle

The opening is not the best imo, but the dry-down is good. I prefer le parfum over this.

I can't fault this frag if this is what your after and your down with sweetness at this price point i would say 100% give this a sample.

Such a nice scent. Love the honey and tobacco. I'm not a fan of super sweet, which this is, so I prefer the more powdery parfum version. This one is great though.

I have the LeMale Parfum and this is even better IMO.  I love it and think it smells amazing.  Love the vanilla and it is sweet and spicy at the same time.  Last all day.

The Le Male line is one of if not my favorites. Le Parfum is beautiful. This elixir is very good! Looking forward to fall/winter to wear more. A must try!

It isn’t the best JPG le male. It smells like a sweeter Le Male Le Parfum. I prefer Le Parfum over elixir.

Absolutely incredible! Beautiful blend of mint, lavender, honey and tobacco. I ended up purchasing a full bottle. I’m looking forward to wearing this one.
