Decanted Sample of Encre Noire A L'Extreme by Lalique

This one I am so indifferent too, and I can't explain it. DEF is a preference scent and by that I mean will be HIT or MISS with others so don't wear it expecting any compliments. The grassy with wet soil still hanging out to the roots note is pretty strong. Almost kind of rolls my stomach on initial spray.  I got hints of nuttiness on initial spray and didn't really like this one until the dry down, it does become fairly enjoyable.

Pretty similar to the original, I would recommend giving both a try before buying, but super high quality and dark, especially for the price

This fragrance is near perfect. It’s a mixture of sharp citruses, balsams, sweet ambers, and damp woodiness. This smells like rolling down the window in the Midwest and smelling the fields. It’s a perfect rainy day fragrance. This will not be for everyone at all. Some people will smell this and think it’s unnerving how much this smells like shrubbery and earth and citrus. It’s unusual, but totally lovable.

vetiver and woods heavy, i loved it

Very heavy vetiver scent with resin and incense making it even more intense and dark. A quality scent but a very difficult one to wear. Maybe even more so than the original Encre Noir.

Better than original but it just doesnt work for me.
