I haven't tried Grand Soir. I try to sample the OG before I sample a clone, but the affordable price and my positive experiences with Lattafa convinced me to try this out anyway. I'm glad I did, because I bought a bottle the next day. Despite the name, the oud is not dominant and it's not a beast mode frag. Main notes are vanilla, amber and plum, and they create a lovely wintertime scent. Highly recommended.

Has the same type of warm smell as grand soir by mfk and does good in the dry down

This fragrance was ask about by men, so the grapefuite comes in clean with the vanilla which make it shines more in cool climate there is a hint of foral that keep it in the male spectrum. Tvanilla smell more like homemade vanilla. Iwill revisit this frangrance.
