Decanted Sample of Imagination by Louis Vuitton

It’s a good scent - it’s totally inoffensive and very clean smelling. I truthfully got alot of the tea notes throughout the day,  my wife really liked it. I think personally I wouldn’t ever buy a full bottle as it isn’t something I like enough, esp at the price point, but you can wear this everywhere.

Heard a lot about it, some good, some bad. I definitely notice the soapy dry down. Overall it’s just not something I prefer. However, I’ve been trying to get my 15 year old into fragrances and this one seems to be right up his alley.

It makes no sense how it gets better after each hour of wearing it but it does. It seems to last forever as well. My favorite scent so far.

If you have this much hype all factors should check out? I find longevity lacking, silage is lacking. But scent is amazing. So pros and cons. Was glad to get the real thing to try it out.

Classic citrusy tea fragrance. Compliment machine

This smells fresh and nice.  The sweetness starts to bother me after a couple of hours but this is totally subjective.  Definitely worth a try.

It smells like extremely clean hand soap, like you washed your hands and clothes with Louis Vuitton X Downy collaboration. Opening is too lemon-soapy, dry down is an incredible soap fragrance.

Love it and don't care how expensive it is.  Easily a classy, sexy summer signature scent that works in almost every situation.  This could be the only freshie you need.  Strangely enough,  it did not impress me that much until the 3rd use.  Two blasts and it lasts on a hot humid day.

I honestly love this fragrance and am just now starting to understand why it’s so popular. To me it is one of the less generic citrus scents I have with the tea and ginger really popping on my skin. The citrus is gone on my skin after just a few hours but the sweet tea, cinnamon, and ginger aspect stays on my skin for at least 8. This definitely grew on me after I wore it more and kept getting more and more compliments. Would be a 5/5 if the price point on full bottles weren’t so expensive.

I didn't like it at first, I felt it was a little too soapy, but it smelled amazing after letting some air do its work for about a day!

You need to wear this to understand the hype. It is eternal. Soapy, fresh, clean, and gets better the longer it's on your skin.

A nice tea and citrus hand soap scent easy to wear and mass appealing

I was actually looking forward to buying it, but thank God I didn’t waste $400. It smells like upscale liquid soap  way overhyped and unisex. Honestly, $60 would’ve been a fair price.

Well deserved hype behind this fragrance

Its a good scent but yoo expensive for what you get

Is this a hype train frag? Absolutely. But in a lot of ways it's well deserved. I highly recommend smelling the og because none of the clones capture everything this does. Each of them does hit parts of it so if you decide which part you like, you can choose the proper dupe. That said, if you absolutely love everything this does then this nothing else will completely satisfy you.

It is amazing, all the hype around it is probably a little too much but i do love it and would spend the money on the full size.

Fresh but too soapy for me

Was really looking forward to trying LV fragrances especially imagination. The amazing reviews and constant in your face posts everywhere saying it’s an all time great fragrance set high expectations. Maybe I let that hype get to me because it didn’t quite live up to what I imagined. It’s a great scent absolutely. The tea note is what I was drawn to and loved the most. But, I had performance issues and besides the tea note, everything else is pretty basic. It’s blended perfectly with every note in a symphony, but it just came across as a soft freshie that definitely isn’t worth the price to me. I understand the hype, but it wasn’t for me. Definitely should try regardless if you haven’t.

It’s one of my favorite fragrances ever

I had heard so many good things about this fragrance i wanted to try it out before purchasing the full size. Boy am i glad! Its a very clean smell. Its not bad but its not captivating and thats what i was looking for. Honestly it smells like a fresh clean soap.

Not the biggest projection or performer, but a great all around scent for any and every occasion!!

This is my third time purchasing this fragrance. I enjoy just wearing it in general for myself. Such a clean and invigorating smell. Decants prices and customer service is bar none the best out of all the decant websites I’ve used.

I get strong Chanel allure homme edition Blanche vibes. Good fragrance, but I don’t think it’s worth the insane price tag

I kept hearing about how good this was, and also heard the opposite so I wanted to find out for myself. I’m here to tell you that this is a masterpiece, I’m definitely getting myself a bottle.

Fresh and aromatic fragrance. Very refreshing to wear, I like it.

Not for me,  this one was getting so much love and hype and i dont understand.  It smells unique to me but I dont get the strong citrus or understand how it pulls a lot of compliments.  Average scent at best.

Very fresh with depth and the tea note is nice

Out of Pacific Chill, Afternoon Swim, and Imagination this seemed the best although Im still not a big fan. Its very plain like Afternoon Swim but it has a tea note base with a some nice lemon notes. For the price it should stand out alot more

It is very clean and refreshing and citrusy

Imagination is a light, citrus-forward fragrance with a touch of aromatic herbs. It's pleasant and easygoing, but it lacks the complexity and depth found in other Louis Vuitton offerings. The bergamot and neroli notes are uplifting, making it a good choice for everyday casual wear. However, the performance is moderate at best, and it may require reapplication throughout the day.

Depends on what you're looking for. This smells very similar to Justin Bieber The Key, which is a fragrance my wife wears often. It is a pleasant scent, but leans a little bit too feminine for my tastes. Very floral dominant.

Tried a few Louis Vuitton scents from this site, including Imagination since it is one of the most popular from this house.  Good citrus freshie with lackluster performance. I don't get any tea and very little ginger on my skin. Honestly, it's not very memorable, especially for the price. L'Immensité does it better, sample it first before deciding on this one.

Imagination is perhaps the safest, most non-offensive fragrance on Earth. A big hit of citrus on the front and and clean musk out the back. Everybody like this. It is the definition of freshness. It's not exciting or original but it's the dumbest of dumb reaches for summer.

Take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I don’t get the hype. To me, this is very chemically and cloying. The longevity is incredible, so I wish I did like it!

I like the citrusy/floral scent, but I don't think I could pull it off. Ended up giving my SO the decant and she loves it. Performance seems pretty good too, I could still smell the fragrance after an 8 hour shift.

It’s a very silky fragrance I do not like the projection of it as it’s very poor performing. I love the fruity freshness I just wish it performed better.

I wore this out and asked some friends what they thought and they responded by saying it just smelt like i just walked into a cologne store. They were not that impressed by it but hey were into scents like people here are, I guess. I don't really get that citrus note. it's not a bad scent nor my favorite.

Smells very good but projectiin not so good. You have to wear a 5ML bottle for an outing

The opening is very minty - aquafresh minty.  Although it fades after a few minutes and you get citrus and florals it stays throughout the life of the fragrance.  Wonderful scent for Summer. Definitely unisex but a bit feminine leaning to my nose.

I was blown away by this one. All day long I kept getting impressed with how I smelt. And it lasted all day. I went and bought a bottle same day.

Really good fresh citrus scent. Can see how some people compare this to other blue fragrances like BDC. For it's steep price point, I would not buy a full bottle, but still something that people should try as it's much more unique than a lot of other blue scents.

On the first spray I absolutely hated how it smelled but when I went to smell it again a few days later it didn't seem as bad. I think you just need to get some air in the decant and it'll get a little better.

A very cozy fragrance that's citrusy, fresh and sweet that is very well blended. I could see why it's highly praised and loved in the entire LV collection.

VERY citrusy, ambery, and green/white floraly. This honestly is my end game for the citrus category, it's just so high quality. However, Guerlain's platine prive exists and I would say it swaps blows equally with imagination and is extremely similar overall (came out before imagination too). In regards to price, Guerlain's offering is just so so much better for a product you might actually prefer over LV. Still, I'd give both a try since you won't be upset with either. Except maybe your wallet.

Hyped fragrance that smells decent, a 'blue' scent that has a bit of citrus and a tea note - a toned down Blue de Chanel with it's own twist, nothing spectacular for the asking price and not worth $320 for 3.4oz ($94/oz).

4/10 for performance vs value.
