Decanted Sample of Acqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani

Immediately hit with a beautiful blast of citrus and fresh marine notes. It smells super lemony, VERY fresh and easy going. Manly at the same time. I can see why it sells so well. I might wear it one day but it’s a bit too lemon-smelling for my liking. But it is indeed very good.

This is the older formulation.  I remember wearing this fragrance back in the 90's.  In my opinion, by scent alone, the perfect cologne for the summer.  The performance is terrible.  I also tried the new formulation and I do not like it.  The new formulation performs better but doesn't smell as nice.

This was a surprise to me, it had such a pleasant clean and fresh smell that got better as it rested into the skin.

This is simple, fresh, and clean. There's a reason it's popular, and I don't feel it's dated at all.

Fresh and clean, smells like the ocean! I loved this from the first time I smelled a sample at Dillard's with about 8 other scents. I had no idea at the time how popular it is.

I bought this one, along with the original EDP, the 2024 Profondo EDP, and the original Parfum.

I like both EDPs and can barely tell a difference. The Profondo is a little sweeter and longer lasting.

The Parfum is more woody and musky, and longer-lasting of course.

The deciding factor: my wife can't stand patchouli, which is in the base of the EDPs and Parfum.

So I'm sticking with this EDT. It's an amazing daily scent at a reasonable price here.

This DNA, though arguably improved upon in various flankers, is incredible. I find the drydown super interesting, as it holds some of its brightness in a way most fragrances don’t. A clean, citrusy, summer scent that is an easy no brainer. I keep my sample in my overnight bag just in case.

Good to wear anywhere anytime

Fresh, clean, bright, citrus, floral.  People love this stuff.  I know its been around a long time, but this stuff still slaps.  People just love it.

This scent is fine. I am in my mid 20s and feel like it makes me smell too old, if that makes sense. The Parfum and Profondo are much more modernized takes on this DNA. All of that said, this is worth a shot for anyone thinking about it. The OG is a mass appealing marine aquatic scent that isn’t too strong. It is versatile, so it can be worn in any of the warm(ish) months.

Great classic fresh citrus, very versatile. Not the longest lasting 4 to 5 hrs, but still worth it. I think profondo and profumo are better, but this is still great.
