Smells sophisticated and masculine! I wear this for all occassions. I ordered this sample for my buddy who wanted to try this out. For the price, If you do not want to fully commit to the full size blind buy, this is a great buy.

It's Aventus. My only gripe with it is how smokey it is. One of the most popular masculine fragrances for a reason!

Controversial take but I don’t care for aventus. It smells like an older mans perfume. To be fair, I tend to love freshies and I wouldn’t call this a freshie at all. I would also say Club de Nuit smells about identical at a way more reasonable price point

Yeah, this!!  It just smells amazing.  Pineapple without the sweet, sticky,  sugary-ness.  A distant pine tree which is far enough away it draws you in.   Making you feel like someone created this perfect balance just for you;  and you reciprocate by giving a long, deep exhale.  

Bold, classy, and long-lasting. Just wish it was a bit more affordable

Got gifted Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man and I didn't know it was a dupe of Creed Aventus. Got a sample of Creed Aventus and it smells amazing. My girl loves it so if she loves it, I love it.

This is a classic for a reason. Smells amazing, just wish it lasted longer.

I held off on trying any Creed fragrances much like LV because I was sick and tired of seeing it everywhere and seemingly no one had a single bad thing to say about them. I caved into it to find out myself and Aventus deserves every bit of hype it gets and more. There’s so much to say; the actual scent is addicting with an amazing mix of touch of sweet, smoky, and woodsy that isn’t anything like I’ve smelled before. The performance? Incredible. 3 sprays at 5am before a 24hr shift and I was still smelling it when I got off work the next day without any extra sprays during the day. I don’t care about compliments, but I’ve worn it for 3 days and I’ve had about a dozen people men and women both love the scent wanting to know what it was. The only “ding” I have is price. Maybe I’m just cheap and can’t afford throwing ridiculous amounts of money into a fragrance like Creed. But if I had the money I would’ve bought a full bottle by now. I can see the hype, but I also can see people not liking it too. Definitely try for yourself, I was pleasantly surprised and glad to be wrong about waiting so long to try it.

Longevity could be better but the citrusy classic smell is a timeless classic. It is a pretty pricey fragrance but it's safe enough to say it's worth it.

One of the absolute best smelling colognes I have ever encountered.  The scent is unique, clean, sophisticated, confident and fun, making a pretty versatile selection across all seasons.  Despite being such an amazing scent, the projection was underwhelming and the longevity was very poor, which significantly undervalues the cologne for me. All in all, I will still give it 4 stars JUST because it smells so good.

If your looking for a classic men's cologne that is strong, but not necessarily overbearing then this is probably for you. It doesn't last too long. I honestly don't get fruity, pineapple. I get more of the heart and base notes right away.

Can't deny how good this is. Iconic for a reason. Hard to justify nowadays though.

This is one of the most unique fragrances in the bunch. Fruity and would work for everyday wear imo.

I really don’t like the taste of pineapple, and I guess I don’t like the scent either. This is a very strange chemical soup to my nose. It’s somehow simple and too busy at the same time

Had to get a decant of this supposed classic in the frag community. Recently started collecting fragrances and I believe the hype. Fresh citrusy scent that lingers and projects pretty well. Has a smoother/appealing scent profile than Montblanc Explorer for sure. I definitely plan on getting this frag in the future but not gonna lie price is steep.

There's a reason Aventus has been so popular for so long. It's a great scent for the Spring and Summer. Fruity in the opening, smokier when it starts to dry down. Unfortunately, the longevity isn't the best. There's so many clones of this one out there now that you can find so many different versions of this profile.

So for starters I have tried the following clones
-ARMAF CDIM edt
-L’Aventure
-Mont blanc explorer
This is my first time trying the actual Aventus and I actually love it. It is not worth the $400 price tag. Not even close. Especially when you have these three clones. I think the thing that you’re going to get out of this, the most is the creamy pineapple, which you don’t get in the clones. The pineapple note smells so good, and it kind of radiates off of you for about three hours. All of the clones kind of replace the pineapple with a more lemon scent without the creaminess. I personally liked the smell of Creed but I do not think it is worth it considering how close the colognes are and I don’t think the creamy pineapple is worth it despite smelling amazing. I think I’m gonna go with the EDP version of ARMAF since I’ve heard that it smells less synthetic than the EDT. If not maybe Mont Blanc.

I haven't really smelled anything like it. On my skin doesn't really impress. Worth a sample though.

Great fragrance but super expensive and overhyped. Cedrat Boise has the same DNA for a fraction of the price

Aventus is probably the most cloned fragrance, and that’s because of how good this smells. It’s got the pineapple at the start, with some smoky fruitiness on the dry down. Very masculine and it smells great, but the price for value is debatable, just because of the amount of clones out there (some with better performance).

This cologne has a fresh and fruity top note that really catches your attention. Once it dries down, it delivers a smoky and woody base note that is really impressive. It's perfect for a night out or any formal event where you want to make an impression.

Get CDNIM instead for less money. If money isnt an issue, this is amazing.

I wasn't sure I even wanted to love this due to the price per bottle, but there's no doubt about it that this is a classic scent. Lasted the entirety of my day, and the dry down is where this one shines. Curious how it stacks up against some of the more affordable dupes out there.

Very disappointed with how long this fragrance lasts. It has weak sillage and lasts around two hours then it basically vanishes. Won't be buying it again.

This fragrance has been duped and copied so many times even the original doesn't seem like itself anymore. The opening is strong and pronounced, but the dry down and longevity suffer. I feel like Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition smells the closest to Aventus but makes up all the slack in the longevity department. Maybe it's the formulation that everyone always talks about but that rabbit hole is sealed off for me.

Get CDNIM it’s the same smell

Expensive, but fantastic. Has a musky finish, but it isn't overpowering. Would definitely but a bottle of this.

I have always wanted to smell this stuff, and decant house seemed like the way to do it. Ordered a small sample, and it smells great! Will probably buy a smaller version to keep for special occasions!
