Decanted Sample of Code Parfum by Giorgio Armani

This fragrance is definitely a hit with the ladies. It’s a tad sweet but definitely noticeably fresh. I had multiple compliments from the ladies so that’s a plus. It is definitely a summer fresh scent I would buy it again!

This one is a nice powdery scent that has a great opening but something in the dry down comes forward and over powers everything and I didnt care for it as much.   I think it could be aldehydic notes but am not sure.

I've been using Armani Code ETD since it was first introduced.  This Parfum version takes a well acclaimed fragrance to a more refined level.  A bit sweeter and earthier, this versatile and classy scent is a winner for me.

Love the code line, but this one is special. Signature worthy.  

This is not a very simple linear scent. In comparison to the EDT, which is more fresh, this is warmer, sweeter, and better for more intimate or classy situations. Timeless DNA.

Opens with bright citrus and a herbal twist, the herbal qualities remain throughout, from the creamy, powdery, and airy iris in the mid to the woods and tonka infused dry down. Wear above 20 Fahrenheit and below 70, day and night. Recommended for 30 yo+

Versatile iris fragrance that works well in both professional and informal occasions. Subtle, but not overpowering. Lasts 8-9 hours on my skin. Would consider buying a full bottle in the future.  

Opens nicely and dries down to iris. The clean, soapy kind of iris. This could be dressed up or down. Worn anytime or place. Clean and airy.

I like the powdery and versatile feel. Something I could see myself wearing to work and around.

It is good but in my opinion it smells similar to Armani Code EDP. the only thing i like better is it has a magnetic cap.

I purchased the original first came out, so when I saw that a parfum version of it came out, I had to try it. All I can say is wow. What a well rounded fragrance. It still has the same DNA from the original but with more character.

A lot of hype around this one and I don't quite get it. I don't think this is by any means a bad fragrance, I just didn't really care for it. I also got really poor performance with it. For me, it became a skin scent within an hour.

If you haven't already experienced Armani Code I would recommend going straight for this parfum version.  If you HAVE experienced Armani Code...same recommendation applies.  The original Code is vastly distant from this new Parfum version and it's intensity with the bright citrus mixed with that original Code DNA is a welcomed upgrade in my opinion.
