Bright, darker warm, but still not overpowering, very nice smelling, clean
Incense (iris?) mid, elegant, very much unisex

Woody and a bit powdery. Mature and classy. Reminds me of an expensive men's clothing store, like Brooks Brothers or similar.

This smells fantastic. I’ve only tried Reserve Prive apart from this one within the Gentleman line, but to me this is better than that one. It smells masculine, woody and aromatic, with a slight bit of iris, that doesn’t come across as lipsticky. 8/10

Smells great, my 2nd favorite after the Privee. Only reason it loses to it though is because the projection is weaker and doesn't last as long. More powdery.

I haven't tried all the Givenchy line but I've tried most and this one is probably my favorite so far. Its fresh and masculine and doesn't feel too heavy. Doesn't appear to be great in longevity but I don't care as you can always reapply. Next time I make a purchase I may get a 10ml sample and grab any other from the line I haven't tried yet. Worth a grab in my opinion and could be bottle worthy for me.

This fragrance confuses me. I love iris scents. Prada L'homme EDT and Gentleman Reserve Privee are among my all-time favorite scents.  Although the iris is there, this has an unusual character. For some reason, on my skin, this smells like a sparkling soda iris scent. There is a very bizarre bubbly and effervescent smell to it. It's not bad, but it's not particularly good. It is bizarre and unusual to me. Definitely requires a decant prior to buying. 5.5-6/10.

Givenchy has done it again, pretty good fragrance.

I love the gentleman line. I think this and intense are the most versatile. This one is classy and masculine. I think intense lasts a little longer on my skin, but you can't go wrong here.

On the initial spray there was a lot going on but ones it dries down it is such a smooth classy fragrance. A little bit sweet but not to the point that it is unpleasant, so far I would definitely recommend for nighttime wear, probably best during cooler months.

I like this scent and believe it is better than the Boisee flanker.

This will be my signature scent no question. So many compliments.

One of the best from the line but i think it is redundant to have Gentleman EDP and Boisee. If you were going to get just one i would go with Boisee.

One of the better scents out there. Lots of iris, touch of powder. It's not my favorite, but a solid choice if floral smells are your style

I agree with Thomas's review. You get all of the iris/wood up front and as it dries down it becomes pleasantly spicy. It reminds me a lot of a smoother Polo Red on the dry down, which I love. It's a spicy sweet, not a bubble gum sweet. This is the best one in the line-up for my tastes.

Smells similar to D&G The One EDP, with some smooth iris and better performance. Perfect for a guy 30s+, this suits my taste, Perfect scent for cold weather.

I really loved the opening. Very fresh and iris not too overbearing. However as it dried down, I felt like the fragrance was overtaken by sweetness. Not what I was expecting on the dry down.

It smells something like my grandpa would wear. Its formal and something you would wear with a suit but for older people.

I’m falling in love with iris based scents. When I was first getting into perfumery I didn’t care for iris at all. Interesting how that changes over time. This is a fantastic scent. It has the spice and woodiness to go along with the iris. Fantastic stuff

This is a lovely masculine floral fragrance, feels a little on the white floral side to me, but still definitely powdery with some iris. This is a very versatile fragrance as you could easily dress this up or wear casually just as well.

This fragrance smells great and can be used in formal settings it is pretty powdery

Good scent, but smells generic to me

One of my new favorites, wife liked it as well. It's not a fragrance I would wear every day, but would certainly wear this on nights out.

Great for the office; definitely a more formal fragrance. But this one is more versatile than other iris-focused fragrances, like Gentleman EDP or Dior Homme Intense

I'm finding it hard to dislike any of the Gentleman flankers from Givenchy.  This fragrance is warm, powdery and very woody.  Perfect for a night out and great for compliments.  

This stuff smells amazing and lasts all day!  I was looking for something for formal occasions and I liked this most out of everything else, including Dior Homme Intense and Terre D'Hermes.
