Decanted Sample of The Tux by Maison Alhambra

Felt like Maison Alhambra Kismet was a better dupe for YSL Tuxedo, but The Tux smelled great as well.

I sampled this and Moustache as alternatives to Tuxedo by YSL, and both are excellent. The Tux is not as thick as the OG, which actually makes it a little more versatile and more wearable. Smells much more expensive than it is. Recommended.

The Tux is now called Winsome and it is absolutely an easy pick up if you like the YSL OG.  This one is slightly richer/fuller smelling than Kismet and the vanilla comes through more realistic and less vanilla extract smelling.  I like the vanilla note in Moustache EDP better but this is half the price and almost as good so save a few bucks and pick this up as your replacement for Tuxedo.

I love YSL Tuxedo. I was blown away when  I smelled this. Spot on. Bought immediately.

Clone of YSL's Tuxedo, as with Rocha's Moustache EDP. Not bad, but not the real deal. $55 for 3oz ($17/oz).

6/10 for performance vs value vs uniqueness, added points for affordability.

This fragrance is 99% close to Tuxedo by YSL. That's about all that you need to know about it lol. Tuxedo is great.

I can definitely see this being worn in a formal setting with its strong patchouli note. Sadly, it's not a favorite for me to wear with my sweeter scent preferences but I can see it's appeal.

A bang for your buck with this gem. I’ve never smelled YSL Tuxedo but this scent is a classy sophisticated work of art at a fraction of the price. I’ll definitely be on the hunt for a bottle of this.

An absolutely incredible scent profile, the patchouli is the main note and it gives it much more character. It’s a shame it looks like it’s sold out everywhere.

Gets extremely close to YSL tuxedo for 1/10 of the price. Good performance, around 8 hours. Very good in formal situations.

This is a cheap fragrance but doesn't smell like it. I have never smelled Tuxedo, but from what I hear it's nearly identical. This is something to be worn in cool weather months/formal occasions. Very good, especially for the price.

Heavy on the patchouli and incense. Very nice for cooler weather. Not sure about this one in the heat, though.

This is an absolute masterpiece. Even though I haven’t smelled tuxedo, after getting this I don’t know if I really have to. Rich, luxurious, and warm, without being crazy sweet either. Makes me feel boujie while the budget stays happy. I am hunting down a full bottle because of this sample!
