Heavy vanilla throughout- opens beautifully with sweet vanilla, and spicy nutmeg and citrus to add complexity. Loses its magic slightly in the dry down, which mostly consists of a synthetic but pleasant heavy vanilla. Powdery throughout, and slightly similar to DHI but a bit more sexy and young

This is the gourmand version of Dior Homme Intense or Prada L'homme EDT. There is a very, very thick almost mud-like vanilla throughout the entirety of this fragrance. The iris is there, and it is lipsticky. To my nose, it smells incredible. It's a very smooth and sophisticated scent. However,  I am not a fan of the thick vanilla at all. It's nostril-plugging how dense it is. This requires trying before buying, as it is significantly different from other iris scents.

Not the worst smell that has ever come across my nose but it was a let down. Maybe I had too high of expectations because I was really excited to smell this one. It was quite powdery and reminded me of the scent of makeup. Maybe I will like it as my nose matures but for now it is not justified to buy a whole bottle. Worth a shot trying since smell is subjective.

A nice warm iris with vanilla DHI with vanilla just as good in my opinion. If you like DHI you will like this one.

This takes Dior Homme Intense DNA and adds a slight sweetness and freshness ambroxan touch. Love it 10/10

To be brief, this is very close to Dior Home Intense, however, is is important to talk about the vanilla in this that is not present in DHI. It's hard to be decisive on the vanilla because on the one hand, it does smooth out the iris note which was notorious for making DHI smell like waxy lipstick. On the other hand, it also kinda feels like its diluting how iconic the iris note is almost in a way like trying to make DHI "safe". On it's own I enjoy the scent but I think that if I wanted a super formal iris fragrance I would still end up reaching for DHI to fully commit to being a makeup bag smelling androgynous little creature. If maybe the vanilla note was decreased I would consider this more. If you hated DHI, you might like this. If you love DHI, you might like this as well.

- very powdery(7/10), strong bite right away(6/10) maybe the bite is iris??...slight pepper not bad tho (3/10), cant smell vanilla dont like the powdery scent, too strong. Can smell leather (4/10). Its very strong scent - huts you hard right away, definitely no more than 1 spray. Theres a strong flowery scent as well which i dont care for.
- im not liking it, especially not more than mercedes club black. About ready to throw it in trash, the powder is too much, the bite is ok, but not great
