Decanted Sample of Stronger With You Oud by Emporio Armani

Sweet oud scent. The SwY DNA of vanilla with oud wood. The oud is a bit spicy and zingy. The zingy spice makes it feel like the spice from a fresh scent. It's a bold oud with sweet vanilla hanging out in the background.

As it dries down, the oud starts to fade and the sweet vanilla becomes the center of the scent. It starts to become similar to the original SwY but definitely a bit more sweeter.

It’s a very interesting fragrance, the oud is definitely notable, just not my cup of tea.

The oud in this is not stinky at all and probably leans closer to smelling woody rather than oudy but I still get that aromatic oud whiff a bit. It's pretty good but I'd recommend checking out SWY Leather as I think it might be a touch better. This fragrance as well as SWY Leather are definitely the ones to try out of the whole SWY line for being richer and more distinct from the plethora of spicy vanilla fragrances. Biggest complaint with the whole line is that it is still super simplistic and not entirely unique but still appealing and well made.

The opening hits you with that oud, medicine like snell. Then the mid turns to a green smell. Dry down has a sweet chestnut, syrupy vanilla smell. A very good flanker!

This is the newest from the Stronger With You Line as of making this review, it is done well, and keeps the original DNA of the line with some added oud in the base, nice fall/winter fragrance.

This fragrance is creamy & sweet with enough spice & wood to balance it all out into a superb fall/winter fragrance. I mostly get vanilla, roasted chestnuts, woody oud, & a hint of fall spice. Disclaimer: the oud note in this fragrance is very mild & smooth. Almost leathery. Not the animalic or funky type. I don't consider this a bad thing though. This makes it a safer option for western use. But if you go into it expecting a more complex oud scent, you may be disappointed. The performance of this one for me was great all around. Lasted around 6 hours & projected well without suffocating anyone around me. Then settled to a pleasant softer skin scent for about 4-6 hours. If you're already a fan of anything in the Stronger With You line, I recommend you try out this one aswell.

The DNA of the original Stronger With You is decent, but not really to my liking.  But add some Oud in the mix and it takes that original DNA to a whole new level.  Easily my favorite of the bunch!
