Decanted Sample of L'Homme Ideal Extreme by Guerlain

This scent is just quality and it ia easy to pick that up, the scent profile is very thick and complex but the quality of the ingredient makes it very delicate and you know you are smelling something important here,  also its a projector and if you don't like the scent then well that is a big problem for you because this scent is npt going anywhere for A LONG WHILE, i would not recommend running errands with this thing on you. But man this fragrance is very unique and well made and you need to have at the very least a decant of it for those special occasions.

Super sweet plum and tobacco

This fragrance charmed me from the beginning. It's refined and pleasant from the get go. I prefer a subtle scent and I always test with a single spritz on my chest. This fragrance seemed to last forever, I could even smell it when I woke up in the morning. To my surprise it had morphed into an another equally wonderful scent while I slept - probably from mixing with more of my body oils.

I'm a pretty outdoorsy guy and this won't be my daily driver. I couldn't imagine putting this on and then going for a hike (but clearly other people might based on their scent as I pass), but it'll definitely be in my collection for the right times.

I think lots of people will like this almond, plum, and tobacco fall fragrance, I’m just not one of them. I didn’t really care for it at all.

The entire L’homme ideal line is personally not to my style of fragrances. However this does smell really nice and appealing, and I prefer it over the OG for sure. If sweet almondy scents are your thing, then you’d like this.

Never been a fan of tobacco notes, but this one stands out to me with its spice and boozy notes that make it sweet, but not overly intoxicating. Not as good as the EDP, but much better than the EDT.

Nice gourmand for the price at $165 for 3.4oz ($48/oz).

7/10 for performance vs value.

Interesting but not my style. Better than the EDT and Platine Prive, at least.

This smells like rum, tobacco, and almond wrapped in a slight plum sweetness. It’s easy for plum to be syrupy, but this is not syrupy. I mostly get tobacco, rum, and almond with a really really beautiful sweetness. This remains masculine and gentlemanly while having something disruptive to it. Absolutely perfect fragrance.

This is my first time smelling a Guerlain fragrance, and this one blew me away. It’s absolutely incredible, the boozy note is intoxicating. It’s a must have.

This is so nice the edp was good but the extreme is amazing. Defiantly worth checking out a wonderful edition to the fragrance line.

sweet, fruity, with a nutty tinge to it. nice winter scent

This scent goes in a different direction than the EDP. It's more sweet and more intense. There's less smokiness and less mysteriousness than the EDP. But it's still very good. It's fruity in a masculine way and uses plum similar to how it's used in 1 Million Lucky.

It's a solid scent it's nice has some similarities to the EDP and lasts awhile. Unfortunately when comparing it to the EDP version it falls short.

I smell like a fresh baked apple pie

This is a sweet, creamy, inviting fragrance with a sophisticated edge. The cherry in the opening is nice, not overly sweet or overbearing. In the mid you get a good dose of almond that smells dusty but not necessarily in a bad way, and what in my opinion gives it a more sophisticated feel. In the dry down you do lose some cherry but it still lingers in a very nice bed of vanilla. Overall a very nice and unique fragrance

Best one in the Ideal line. Performance and sillage are very good. A mustvtry!

I've found a new top 10 for me.  I need to rearrange the numbers a bit but this one is fantastic!  I can't seem to land a good spot to buy this one from in a full bottle presentation but it's on my radar for sure.  Fruit, tobacco, leather and spice are the notes in this one and it's just dynamite in my opinion.  Great fragrance to grab from Decant House.  You won't be disappointed.
