Decanted Sample of Hacivat by Nishane

This is similar to Aventus, but it becomes much woodier / greener which I disliked.  Not the biggest fan, I prefer Roja Elysium if you're looking for another aventus style fragrance.

Not bad but nothing too special

Opens up a fresh masculine pineapple. As it settles it becomes a piney forest, slightly citrusy, pineapple. So masculine and forest-like with a fresh sweet background, it’s almost smoke-like.  Good but maybe not something I would personally wear.

I'm not a huge fan of the aventus DNA, Hacivat takes the DNA in a darker more enjoyable direction. I prefer to to cedrat boise as well and find it quite nice.

Had high hopes for this one. Smelled like cleaning supplies to me.

I get the Aventus comparison but it's definitely it's own less-citrusy thing and not nearly as good.

But its not for me - i just dont feel like with my skin it works

I was hoping to like this one, but I smell more oakmoss than I smell the pineapple, at least on my skin. Not a fan.

I went into this wanting to love it as I heard it was close to Aventus which I can kind of see but the oakmoss is way too prevalent for my liking and I could not enjoy it. So, be aware if you are not too fond of oakmoss as this might not be up your alley.

Great for summer, it is in the aventus/club de nuit family.

pineapple based, very nice

I wore this to Dillard's in persuit of a reaction, and instead of a mere compliment one of the three females notice a change in the fragrance. Subsequently this was a conformation that the second note had boldly entered which was very intense and plesurable. Icould smell it for at lease 3hours untill the base note. the pineapple isnoticable in mid and oky moss in the base Ibibnot detect aventus at all.

Better and smoother than aventus. Also lasts probably twice as long.

Let's get it out of the way. Is it close? Yes. Is it a perfect clone? Absolutely not. The note breakdown is somewhat similar but not exact. Nishane has done a good job of differentiating themselves enough that people can smell it and say that they can sense Creed, but that it has it's own character.  It's really good, but it's not Creed.

Strong similarity to aventus but has its own twist... more dark and smoky. The prominent oak- mossiness on drydown wasnt my favorite note but it had excellent performance... lasted the whole day

Yes its Aventus smell, plus heavy patchouli note!

Not sure what notes are causing this to smell so harsh and cloying when it's made for warm weather, but it smells more like some kind of industrial detergent rather than a men's fragrance.

Similar to Aventus in the beginning, but eventually turns a bit woodsy. For me the performance is also similar to Aventus, in that it just doesn't last on my skin. It's not a bad scent, but I don't see the uniqueness or longevity others are seeing, and I don't find the woodsy dry down appealing.

I don't know what category to put this thing in, other than to say I love it. Its so unique and has some kind of fresh woody thing going that I haven't smelled anywhere else. Highly recommend.
