Spring means new flowers bloom; grass starts to grow again yearning for warmth and sunshine. Spring also means fresh fragrances are back in the running so dust off your collection from the back and move them to the front. Got some empty holes in your collection? Today is your lucky day because I have three new Spring fragrance releases below that you’ve gotta put your nose to this season. Starting off with a tennis-esque fragrance line.
Xerjoff Torino24
Xerjoff's Fourth year as Silver Partner for the Nitto Tennis Finals in Turin has brought us Torino24, the newest fragrance in the lineup. Torino was originally launched in 2020 and was part of the Shooting Stars collection and then segued into the Nitto Finals collection. These fragrances were created to attempt to invoke the scent that parts of tennis may smell like (fresh can of tennis balls, smell of the inside of an indoor tennis court, etc). I honestly can say that I get it in some weird kind of way. I haven't tested all of the Torino lineup but have tried most of them and each one is uniquely different yet stay true to the roots of their scent profile. For me personally, Torino21 is still my favorite, but Torino24 is growing on me.
Top notes are Mango, Bergamot, Mandarin and Plum; middle notes are Orange Blossom, Pink Lotus and Styrax (dry balsamic note); base notes are White Musk, Moss and Patchouli.
For me and patchouli, you all know I rock anything with patchouli, but this fragrance might have the most micro-granular amount of patchouli that my big schnoz can't pick up on. I get the middle notes, some of the fruits in the opening, but the base is eluding me for some reason. I'd love for this to have more patchouli for my own checklist, but I feel as though it would ruin the profile they're going for in the first place. Overall, this scent is a really good warm weather scent to start trying out this spring. If you're an avid tennis player, give this one a serve and see if you like it. If you're just a fraghead like me, pick this one up, you'll like it!

Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio Elixir
FINALLY!! The fragrance I've been waiting for from the Acqua di Gio lineup is finally here! At this point I can't even tell you how many flankers we've gone through to get here, but it was way too long, and I can't believe it's on my desk for real this time. Remember the flanker re-dos over the past few years? If you seriously wanted to confuse anybody and talk about fragrances, talk about the Acqua di Gio lineup since 2020. I've personally had arguments with the people at Macy's because I was asking for a specific fragrance, and they would hand me the wrong one. I'd have to be like, "No, not the one from 2020 or 2023, I want the one from 2024". It made zero sense.
So, here we are in 2025 and in typical designer fashion, a new elixir is born but, in this case, I welcome it with open arms. The best part about this fragrance is that it smells nothing like any other in the lineup while also somehow still smelling like all of them at the same time. Super hard to explain, but you'll have to take my word for it or buy your own sample and try it for yourself. You'll understand fully once you smell it. It has the freshness of the original with the woodiness of Profumo and the freshness of Profondo Lights.
Top notes are Bergamot, Green Mandarin and Nutmeg; middle notes are Violet Leaf and Water Notes; base notes are Leather, Patchouli, Vetiver and Labdanum.
I sincerely can't get enough of this one and so far, it's my number 1 pick of the newest 2025 fragrances so far. Extremely versatile, really pleasant smelling and a beast with that elixir formulation. Try this one, and if you're going to keep ANY from the collection of the Acqua di Gio line, this should be the one.

Tom Ford Bois Pacifique
I was roaming through Macy's one day and came across Beau de Jour (translates to Beauty of the Day). Hadn't heard of it but tried it on and was really surprised how old school it smelled. Old school in a mature, masculine kind of way. Like rich-guy-has-a-lot-of-money kind of scent. The bottle looked like an old liquor decanter from the 70s and it was just a really well-done fragrance from Tom Ford. Fast forward 5 years later, and we now have Bois Pacifique (translates to Peaceful Woods).
Top notes are Cardamom, Akigalawood and Turmeric; middle notes are Frankincense, Oak, Cedar, White Sandalwood and Iris; base notes are Amber and Vanilla.
First time I got the decant from Decant House I was already excited because I knew that Beau de Jour was a huge hit for me, this couldn't possibly be a letdown. I was right. This spicy, woody marvel kind of reminds me of Myrrhe Mystere but has a touch of sweetness to it that Myrrhe Mystere lacked. Myrrhe Mystere is a sharp, edgy myrrh-forward fragrance that only has a few notes that compliment the myrrh intent. Bois Pacifique takes that and softens it, adds iris to it, adds other woody notes to it and makes it feel more refined. It's less sharp and less edgy in all the right places.
Final Thoughts
If this is what we’ve gotten already three months into the new year, we’ve either peaked or this year’s about to be one of the best yet. These three fragrances have surprised me in every way from smell to performance to projection – all three things you really should look for in a fragrance. Of course, you can pick these up as well as more new fragrances currently being released right now at Decant House and try these for yourself. Comment which one is your favorite. I hope you all enjoy your weekend, and I’ll catch you all in the next one!
