Decanted Sample of Sauvage Parfum by Christian Dior

Completely subjective. Do you like Sauvage EDP? Do you want a softer more powdery version of it? If yes then go for it.

I didn't like the EDT, and find most blue scents boring. This however is so interesting to my nose, I enjoyed way more than BDC parfum and think I might get a full bottle as a dumb reach.

I heard all about the Sauvage vs BDC and how Sauvage was much worse. After trying both lines, I can confidently say for me this is my every day scent. It’s so incredibly fresh with a citrus/woodsy mix with neither overpowering the other. It’s also a beast and lasts 12+ hours on my skin. Lasts even longer on my clothes. It’s a safe fragrance, it may be boring for some, but I fell in love with it. The scent smells the same after the dry down and performance stays strong all day while not being overpowering. I haven’t tried the EDT and EDP yet but will soon. For now, this is my go-to everyday scent.

I'm usually a niche scent orientated, but for a designer cologne, I kind of like it. It's slightly designer, slightly niche in smell.  Sweet but balanced. If give it a wear every now and then.

This one is my favorite of the Sauvage line, while Sauvage EDT is massively popular the Parfum flys under the radar.
It's like Bleu de Chanel Parfum imo but better because the sandlewood sings louder and it has the amber from the EDT.
Imo this is best for 75 degree and lower weather and best for Men in their 30s and up but can be worn by fragrance enthusiasts of any age especially if you like Sandlewood and incense.
For me 3-4 sprays last 5-6 hrs with above average projection/silage especially during the first 3 hrs.
It's not the cheapest choice for a whole bottle so getting a 10ml decant here may be the best way to get this in your rotation as it was for me.
My personal Sauvage line ranking.
1.Parfum - best smelling, refined, sophisticated.
2.EDT- most versatile/masculine, projector.
3. Elixir- Boss mode,masculine.
4.EDP- meh not my favorite but don't hate it.

I don't tend to follow fragrance trends so I don't usually like mainstream scents. This, however, is light but very apparent. I love it.

Very strong when you first put on very very strong

I feel like this is the least talked about in the line, but just as good as the rest. It seems to fill a smaller role than the others, so maybe that's the biggest reason for being left out of the conversation.

It smells a lot like the EDP version to me, I can 100% pick up the Sauvage DNA, but it's a bit smoother and quieter. I think it would play nicely in situations where you might not want to project as loudly.

Considering Elixir as almost a different animal, I think the EDP is still the one I'd pick of the other three. It hits the sweet spot in the middle for me; however, the Parfum is great, and I'd recommend it for sure.

This is my favorite in the Sauvage line, followed by the EDP. This is a bit sweeter and stands out.
